Seal Trip Limit Reminder for Area 6 Small Boat Fleet

Sealers in the Area 6 small boat fleet are reminded that section "C" of their seal license conditions set out trip limits based on vessel length.

DFO wishes to clarify that, up to and including April 19, 2007, these limits are to be applied on a per-trip basis; there is no restriction on the number of trips that Area 6 small boat sealers can make each day.

From April 20, 2007 onwards, Area 6 small boat sealers are limited to a daily harvest of 50 seals.
