| | DFO advises that following several postponements, the seal fishery in sealing areas 4 - 7 and area 12 will re-open for sealers residing in sealing areas 4 - 8 who are operating from vessels less than 65' at 6:00 a.m., Newfoundland Daylight Saving Time, Friday, April 15, 2005 The seal fishery will close at 7:30 p.m., Newfoundland Daylight Saving Time, Friday, April 15, 2005 to all sealers residing in Sealing areas 5 - 8, operating from vessels between 35' and 64'11", and to any sealer operating from any vessel less than 35' that has a sealer with a homeport in sealing area 6 onboard. DFO will compile catch information from the hail reports provided by sealers to determine if the fishery will re-oen to these fleets on Saturday, April 16, 2005. Sealers will be advised through a Notice to Fishers over Marine Radio, whether or not the fishery will re-open on Saturday, April 16, 2005. Sealers are encouraged to provide their daily catch report as described in license conditions as soon as that information is available. This entry has been revised once.
